A friend in the industry once told me “No one pursues the swimming pool industry, you just end up there”. I’ve found in most cases, including my own, this to be true and I’m so thankful for this. I’ve been very fortunate that my prior experiences have helped shape the career I enjoy today. From my time in the Marine Corps specializing in land surveying (yes, that is a thing) to years working in the geo-technical field, I unknowingly was acquiring valuable experience that I apply each day.
My passion is to develop an exceptional design that speaks to each client’s unique want, needs and requirements. The design process for me is holistic. All details must be considered and given the proper weight and consideration. There’s something exceptionally satisfying about presenting a design that truly speaks to my client’s desires and enhances their property. It’s a result of not just understanding the technical details but developing an honest connection with the client and their space. That’s where exceptional design is born, and that’s what continues to drive me in my work.
